Does the community want a shoutbox? We have a argument that it is not needed but they are a laugh like back in the IRC days... so yay or nay? And comments why or why not

Exactly, if you want to post something post it in the forum. Everything that doesn't deserve a thread on the forum will end up in the shoutbox, there's no point.

But in olden days and still to this day communities have successful forums for discussion and for quick chats like steam or IRC there is the shoutbox as the community Group chat room... is always empty on the website it might not be and might be active so it saves them big drawn out convo's on steam with many members. My argument for the shoutbox!
