I'll add some help below for those that'll be joining us tomorrow, which should explain the basic controls. Don't worry about the amount of content here, it covers EVERYTHING, but it's simple to get into and get used to.

TARGETS
When you join, you'll be given a target to kill, which'll appear in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and look something like the image to the left.

Make sure to blend in with the rest of the NPCs, form groups and look around in the groups for your target in order for you to look less suspicious. The higher up in the leaderboards you are, the more likely you are to be randomly targeted, so if you're at the top of the server, you could have almost all the rest of the server hunting you down. If you're the person targeting a player high up on the leaderboard, you will have to get to your target before someone else takes your kill and you get re-assigned to another player.

If you kill the wrong player, you will be deducted 100 points and killing the correct player will give you 100 points.
Above: Your target
TIME LIMITS
The time limits are displayed in the upper right hand corner.
The main, large timer shows you how much time you have left for you to kill your selected target before another one is selected.
The smaller timer displays the time left in the current gamemode.
Above: Time limits
ABILITIES
Abilities, sometimes referred to in the gamemode as perks allow you to temporarily sprint, go invisible and locate your target. They all rely on the energy bar above the selected ability to work, each one requiring different amounts of energy for use.

Speed - Gives you a boost for a short period of time, good for escaping or catching up to targets.
Invisibility - Gives you temporary invisibility to everyone, very noticeable to enemies when you become visible again however.
Target - Shows you the position your target was at when it was activated by displaying a yellow T where the player was. Requires the full energy bar for use and notifies the target that you used the ability.

DATAPADS
Datapads are found randomly around the map, these give you 200 points when you find them (twice as much as killing a target). They are usually found in vents, dark areas and on tables and desks.
Above: Datapads

Your score is shown in the upper left hand corner of the screen, but there's no need to detail that.

POINTS
Find a datapad
+200 points
Kill a target
+100 points
Kill anyone else
-100 points
Suicide
-200 points
There's also a limit on the amount of negative points you can have per game, which is -4000. Anything less and you will be kicked.

TIPS
  • Look slightly above the centre of your screen to stop your character looking down and becoming obvious.
  • Don't use your abilities in open areas, especially if you're near the top of the server.
  • Keep an eye on your energy bar, nothing is worse than having your invisibility wear off in front of every enemy in the server.
  • Wait around in a group of NPCs and observe how other NPCs move around, what obstacles they avoid and how they avoid them. Try and mimic them as well as you can.
  • If you see your target, don't suddenly turn and walk towards them, it's pretty obvious then that you're the person targeting that player.
  • Standing next to a group of NPCs will initiate a conversation between you and them, which helps you blend in.
More to come later, of course.

I hope this is enough information for you, and should get you started on the right track in the game.

Not 100% where your putting any bugs we find in the map since this is the gamemode but can't find anything in maps about this one :D

But ye was beta testing just the map this morning just making sure all worked etc

Only one bug so far if you go into toilets (don't know if there is more than one set but u cant close the door if u go into a cubical seems bit too small the cubical and u hit into the door

Edit: make that two...
Walking into grates while there still opening forces them to close which is annoying if u continue walking while opening

It was in my bottom right hand corner.

I know about the first one, but I don't think I'm going to do anything about it really. I'd rather not have everyone hiding in there :P.
The second one can't be sorted by me I don't think, it's a source problem.

"When you join, you'll be given a target to kill, which'll appear in the bottom left hand corner of your screen and look something like the image to the left."

It was in my bottom right hand corner.
It was 2 in the morning, I'll change that.

Going to add a chat command for that, so it'll respawn you. I can't do anything with the map as it'd involve uploading that again.

I'm only adding it for the testing, just so you don't have to kill yourself. I trust no one testing will do that.

Ok, I know I've not said much on this recently, because I've not done anything on it.

Since I'm pretty busy at the moment I can't actually finish the map until I get a load of free time and ideas, so I decided to just stick it on an already existing map, considering the gamemode is pretty much complete. The only problem is, I've been searching for ages now and I can't seem to find a decent map to run it on, so if anyone knows any decent, nice looking, relatively big, AI noded maps then could you post them below.
