DRM usually isn't that restrictive.

Take a look at steam, that has far more DRM then most other game systems, you hardly notice it if you play it legally.

iTunes music is also DRM'ed, so you can't play it on anything but an ipod. However that doesn't mean iTunes is good, don't buy from them. Use Amazon's DRM free store ( In america anyway )

The thing is Steams DRM > Any other DRM. I personally like Steams DRM, unlike many others.

Well, SecuROM makes sense when you hear that Sony BMG made it, partially at least...

And Sony BMG got pretty famous of their DRM rootkit scandal in 2005

The i-Tunes DRM is extremely fail, just burn it onto a CD and it'll rip off as anything you want it to.

Lol, Sloooow. Especially with 2000+ songs, just don't buy from iTunes, full stop.

I'm torrenting bioshock after I cocked up my disk, just going to use my CD key, and why oh why can't steam recognise the key!

Even though steam is only a distributor and its CD key thing only recognises non 3rd party games I think that it should recognise the retail version of all the games it sells.

Why would they do that? They get a cut of the money of games they sell, why allow games which they've recieved no money for be allowed onto the system and use it's resources?
