Computer help :O

Okay, i got my dear vista that i think is dying. Its 3 years old and according to things i got pretty tricked when i bought it. Gmod crashes more often then before and it takes 5-20 minutes to join a server depending of if i recently started it. Is there anything i can do to "resurect" it without having to buy anything?
Also im considering cleaning my computer from dust, what should i use there?

'Resurrecting' a computer would mean a reformat... but I hate people who jump that that conclusion "there's no other way!". Clean it out then see if its better, if not that try installing some unused programs to clear up some disk space. Give em a go.

Oh 100gb is fine, low disk space can cause it to slow down.
Dust it!

Give it a Defrag, it's probably taking ages because it has to scan all across your HDD to find files.

Best way to remove dust from a computer is to buy compressed "air" from some shop. While you said you didn't want to buy anything it can't cost more than £5, and it'll save you at least an hour of proper cleaning.
PX1K: Generally the best way to fix a computer is to re-format it. The more you install and un-install programs the worse it gets. So really, un-installing stuff with disk space to spare only makes it worse. Programs such as CCleaner only work up to a point.
Also, if you're running vista it will have run a defrag once a week for all of its life unless you turned it off. So De-fragging it might not do much, if anything.

load up disk defragmenter and screenshot it. If your computer has ever been on at 1AM wednesday I think it will have defragged
