Headset Problem
« on: 01 July, 2009, 01:49:59 am »
I've had this problem since I first got my PC.

It's really annoying and it's the main reason why I never use my Mic.

Problem: For some ODD reason my headset whatever I hear gets played in my Mic.

Example: *Pushes PTT key* "Hey.." *BANG BANG* "Guys......."

Bang Bang being gunfire from a game I'm playing.  ;)

It sucks because I can't play a game without turning off game sounds and then talking on Mic.

Some of you will probably thing "STEREO MIX! TURN IT OFF" and it is. I've tried it.

So any help is appreciated.

MONO MIX! TURN IT OFF.

No seriously, how much sound does your headset keep in, is it loud enough to enter the mic?

For when you do all join mumble

http://www.xuras.co.cc/index.php/topic,744.0.html

Great UI for in game shows who is talking and great sound quality.

But remember to set up push to talk if requested i will make a tutorial for this!

Other advantages of mumble is that it tells you who has joined and left so you ain't confused to who has joined and have to minimize game

Don't judge a book by its cover...

You're practically saying "I don't like it because they've spent more time on their program than they have on their logo".
