lappy help

so at mom im currently using my moms laptop which screen is broken. The friction in the axises is broken so i have to hold the screen with one han and write with the other which is killing me. Got any idea how i should hold the scrren with something?

is it on a table or on your leggs, if its on a table put someting like a book behind it or a glass, or just anything high enough and heavy enough :], hope that will help hehe

edit also could you make a picture of the laptop maybe you can put something in the joints so tis stuck, like a foulded piece of paper or a paperclip or maybe even a knive could do ^^

you could make a stand for it with 1 peice of 2'x2' MDF and a circular saw. About 8 screws aswell. Only problem is it would be permanent.


EDIT: You could also lean it against a wall.

What I said would cost <£2. Thats if you've got a circular saw. If not forget it, it'll cost >£40
